Role Summary:

The International Finance Manager of FP&A will play an important leadership role for Cinemark, supporting the CEO, CFO, President of International, VP of FP&A, International Director FP&A and Cinemark’s senior management team with International P&L, CAPEX and cash flow forecasting and analysis. This role is responsible for planning, analyzing and providing key insights into International P&L, Capex and Cash Flow planning and analysis. This position will support the International Director to consolidate, analyze and oversee International financial data and directly lead cash and P&L budgeting, forecasting and evaluation for Cinemark’s International business. The ideal candidate for this position will have seasoned FP&A acumen, solid knowledge of balance sheet accounting and income statement dynamics, clear communication skills, an ability to positively collaborate and influence across varied functions and cultures, experience operating in a multinational company, International experience and bi-lingual (Spanish or Portuguese).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead P&L and cash flow forecasting cycles (budgets, short-term pacing and long range plans) for International Business
  • Manage on-going and ad hoc reporting of historic P&L and cash flow to assess Cinemark’s financial results and present them to management
  • Maintain sophisticated tools/systems/routines to maximize efficiency and accuracy of information
  • Prepare financial reports, presentations and outlooks to help senior management prepare for key deliverables such as quarterly earnings releases and Board of Directors presentations
  • Create and maintain a multi-year strategic financial projection of both P&L and Cash Flow results to help management assess the financial outcomes of various business strategies
  • Support International management team, the VP of FP&A, International Director FP&A, CFO and senior management with strategic decision-making by performing proactive financial analysis, volume/rating analysis, providing independent thought leadership and making recommendations associated with International P&L and cash flow trends
  • improvement agenda; develop more advanced and robust International cash flow pacing routines to provide better line-of-sight to quarterly and full-year financial results
  • Assist International Director FP&A with company-wide cash management by providing short/long-term global financial forecasts and insights
  • Coordinate closely with Director of International FP&A to review projections, budgets and historical P&L and cash flow results of our International Business;
  • Supervise, coach, develop and motivate International FP&A Sr. Analyst and Analyst
  • Provide continuous and timely communication to leadership team

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, and a minimum of 5 years job related experience.  Experience in theatrical exhibition industry a plus.
  • Advanced level of MS Excel experience (3 years)

Experience in Windows Environment, Powerpoint and Word

  • Anaplan, Workday, Essbase, Power BI, Nvision, SQL, or multi-dimensional database experience a plus
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Advanced problem-solving and research abilities
  • Strong communication skills, oral and written
  • Broad knowledge of financial concepts, procedures and practices
  • Ability to understand complex financial concepts
