Role Summary:

The Coordinator – POS Systems will contribute to and help execute the Food and Beverage programming strategy for Cinemark USA through a wide range of responsibilities. This Coordinator role focuses primarily on working with the internal Point-of-Sale (POS) system by creating, pricing, setting tax, and implementing many other miscellaneous tasks related to all Food and Beverage POS products being sold in the theatres as well as for third party delivery. Other parts of the process can include coupon setup, digital menu board line-item setup, assigning and pricing product modifiers, as well as creating web profiles for online sales. While the primary focus of the role is on the POS category, there may be opportunities to support and coordinate with other Food and Beverage product categories. This position reports to the Category Manager of Penny POS.

Responsibilities:

  • Review initial new item requests for any missing information or items needing clarification
  • Assist with the creation of new POS buttons, as well as upkeep and make changes to existing buttons
  • Set and manage the approved tax and pricing for all F&B items at all theatres through both live pricing on internal program, as well as excel data dumps as needed
  • Maintain start dates for new POS products or any price changes on existing products
  • Create and link up line-item entries on the Digital Menu Board system in order to display products and their associated calories and pricing
  • Setup ability for products to be sold through online ordering and third party delivery
  • Execute simultaneous running pricing tests and initiatives
  • Seek ways to streamline and improve POS button setup
  • Maintain compliancy with in-house auditing
  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise regarding POS activation, pricing, or digital menu boards

Requirements:

  • High School + Equivalent Experience or bachelor’s 4 Year Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Highly motivated with a can-do attitude and an eagerness to tackle large projects
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Experience with the Penny POS System is a plus
  • Experience with other POS systems is a plus
